Printers and Wi-Fi cause a disproportionate amount of frustration for how simple they're meant to be. I come to you and work through what's actually going on — whether that's a printer that's lost its network connection, dead spots around the house, a router that needs setting up properly, or devices that just won't talk to each other. Sometimes it's a quick settings fix, sometimes it's positioning, and sometimes it's worth adding an extender or replacing an ageing router altogether. I'll check what's actually causing the problem before recommending anything, so you're not spending money on hardware you didn't need.
Why won't my printer connect?
Often it's because the Wi-Fi changed, the printer joined the wrong network, drivers are outdated, or the printer itself has lost its setup. Restarting sometimes helps, but not always — I can get to the bottom of it.
Can you improve Wi-Fi coverage around the house?
Often, yes — sometimes it's a router setting, sometimes it's positioning, and sometimes an extender or mesh system is worth adding. I'll check what's actually causing the dead spots first.
Do you set up new routers or modems?
Yes, including getting your existing devices reconnected afterwards so nothing is left half set up.
